The 9th annual conference of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) will take place over two days at the Treacy Conference Centre, Melbourne.

Day one  will offer a series of stimulating presentations reflecting the conference theme of treating psychosis from the process of inspiration to innovation. We are delighted to have Keynote presentations by Prof. Nancy McWilliams and Prof. Michael Garrett.

On Day two, we are pleased to offer two sequential workshops presented by Prof. Nancy McWilliams and Prof. Michael Garrett, on respective areas of expertise. Prof. McWilliams’ workshop will focus on the dynamics of those with malignant narcissistic personality. Prof. Garrett will present on the treatment integration of cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

We extend a warm invitation to members, prospective members and colleagues in the mental health professions to join us in this exciting and stimulating opportunity for learning and networking with peers.

*A discount rate is offered to all full time students. Student delegates are required to provide their student card number when registering, and to forward their registration confirmation email from Trybooking.com along with a scanned copy of their student card as an attachment to events.office@acpa.org.au.                                            

 

Fees include GST and a 30 cent booking fee. Registrations close midnight EST Friday 2 November 2018. PLEASE
NOTE: NO LATE REGISTRATIONS DUE TO VENUE RESTRICTIONS.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)

Day 1 conference comprises of 5 hours of Professional Development (PD). Each workshop on Day 2 holds 3 hours of PD (6 hours for both workshops). Members of other disciplines or professions attending the conference may be able to claim the conference as CPD provided their governing body does not require event accreditation for PD hours.
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Receipts / Registration confirmation: Trybooking.com issues receipts at the time of registration, and this confirms registration. Please retain receipts for your records, including as a Tax Invoice/Receipt for the transaction. No other receipts are available via this booking system.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds are offered for all cancellations received in writing via email to events.office@acpa.org.au. Cancellations must be received by midnight EST on 2 November 2018. Regrettably, due to the logistics and terms of event management, refunds are not possible after this date, regardless of personal circumstances or difficulties preventing attendance. The cancellation policy is final and not negotiable. However, should the event be cancelled for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
Transfer of registration: Registrations are transferable to another person in all cases. However, notification of transfer of registration including any dietary requirements must be received by midnight EST on 2 November 2018. Transfer of registration to another person is NOT possible after this date, or for only a portion of the event.
