Welcome
This conference aims to bring together leading voices in the field to explore diverse and theory-driven treatment approaches to complex trauma (and trauma that occurs in complex contexts). Keynote presentations will highlight evidence-based and practice-based models of care that are tailored to the unique needs and socio-cultural context of individuals, groups, and systems. The program will focus on the sharing of evidence-informed knowledge and adaptive practices to equip participants with new ideas and perspectives to enhance assessment, formulation, and treatment of complex trauma.
Day 1 will feature a range of keynote presentations by leading clinical psychologists from academic, public health, and community settings. There will be plenty of opportunities during the day to reflect and connect with colleagues, and an early evening social event at a nearby roof top bar to finish off the day.
Day 2 comprises two 3-hour workshops, thoughtfully designed by our expert presenters, to shape your clinical practice and help you ensure that the compassionate and connected care you deliver is also sustainable. .
