Keryn works relationally from an attachment and trauma informed therapeutic orientation and depending on a patient’s needs and preferences, she uses a variety of evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and strengths based approaches. Keryn has experience working with patients across the adult lifespan and has experience working with both young adults and older adults (65+ years). Keryn works with a range presentations and different mental health concerns and has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and wellbeing. This is often seen as a space for the mental health of expecting and postpartum mothers, however it very much includes a space for partners and fathers and their own perinatal experience. Keryn also has experience working with patients and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis and is a part of the Psychosocial Oncology Team at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
